2008 Wrap-Up – Skillz

Reminisce on a crazy year that was 2008 with the always clever Skillz.

Diana Ross – Love Hangover

I love the boss I can’t even try to front, there are certain women who possess a timeless beauty and Diana is one. Diana has an awkward look with strong cheekbones and bulgy eyes, but somehow on her it transcends to pure beauty.

I’m ya fathers friend type nigga if you feel what I’m trying to say, I fucks with them classic beauty’s all day. One of the sexiest songs has to be “Diana Ross – Love Hangover” the song starts slow and sexy with a lil strut as you can hear Diana breathing in the background all erotic and shit. The track builds into a frantic rush of pure disco bliss, in its whole the song is classic so enjoy.

Spring Water – La the Darkman

La the Darkman released “Heist of the Century” back in 1998 the album featured production from RZA, 4th Disciple, Havoc, Carlos Broady, Dj Muggs & even Raekwon.  The standout track to me on this album was always “Spring Water” which features and is produced by Raekwon, the song samples the classic “Joy & Pain” by Maze & Frankie Beverly.

“Spring Water” w/ Raekwon

More than a decade later La is still making moves with his younger brother Willie The Kid who just recently dropped his major-label debut “Absolute Greatness” with help from Dj Drama & the Aphilliates.

I Want to Thank You – Alicia Myers

Alicia Myers dropeed “I want to Thank You”  in 1982,  Alicia was a founding member of the R&B group One Way along with Al Hudson.  This track has been since sampled by countless artists particulary the chorus.  This is definately a feel-good track by all means, you can’t help but to feel good for ol’ girl because she finally found the right one.

Seals & Crofts – Summer Breeze

Grab a peach Nantucket Nectar, light the grape dutch and sit back. This song is a classic the melody intoxicates the listener right from the beginning. I don’t mess with a lot of Seals & Crofts but I definitely mess with this.

Man Shot For Talking at The Movies

Movie Noise Shootingcircus_cinema_seats_0_preview

A man pissed that a family was chatting during a movie threw popcorn at the son and shot the father according to Philadelphia police. James Cialella, 29 was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons violations. I guess the story is Cialella told the family in front of him to be quiet during a showing of “The Curios Case of Benjamin Button”, a argument ensued and then the shot was fired and popcorn thrown.

Cialella was holding a .380 caliber handgun clipped inside his sweatpants police reported. Oh yea this all happened on Christmas day, I guess the movie is worth licking shots for.

Israeli-Palestinian Conflict pictures

These pictures I jacked from yahoo are from the recent happenings over on the shores of the eastern Mediterranean sea.  Most of which are Palestinian kids throwing rocks at Israeli troops and I quote,

Jews, Muslims, Christians
What the fuck’s the difference?
We all want money, drugs & bitches
Anybody that doesn’t rubs me suspicious
I don’t trust none of y’all I don’t trust religion
I don’t trust the police or the justice system
