King James to be Crowned 2009 NBA MVP

LeBron James beat out Dwayne Wade & Kobe Bryant for a well-deserved first MVP award for his 2009 season.  At 24, LeBron is the youngest MVP candidate since Moses Malone did so in 1979.  James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a team-record 66 wins this season and the best overall record in the NBA.  Lebron will accept the award this afternoon at his Alma-matter St. Mary’s High School in Akron Ohio.  Averaging 28.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game, Lebron James will be the first ever Cavalier to win this prestigious award.  After sweeping their Eastern Conference rivals the Detroit Pistons in the first round, LeBron and the Cavaliers look to do more of the same against a tougher upstart Atlanta Hawks team in the second round begining  Tuesday evening.
