What’cha Gon’ Do? – Big Pun

Classic video from Big Pun & Terror Squad for What’cha Gon’ Do, featuring Fat Joe & Cuban Link taking on New York native NBA stars of the time Kenny Anderson & Stephon Marbury in a game of 2 on 2.  This hilarious video features Cuban Link tying Kenny Anderson’s shoes together as well as Fat Joe dunking.  What’cha Gon Do? was produced by Juju from the Beatnuts and features Big Pun doing what he was famous for, absolutely murdering the beat.  Christopher Rios would’ve been 38 today, he was probably the G.O.A.T. and should at least be included in your top 5.Whatcha Gon Do? – Big Pun

Music – Fat Joe Prod. Raw Uncut

Joey gets real cocky on this one, I can’t front this is a Hard record.  Simply titled Music, Fat Joe links up with up and coming producer Raw Uncut to craft some good-ass music.  Look for this to appear on J.O.S.E. 2 dropping May 19th.  CrillzMania!

I Shot Ya- LL Cool J ft. Keith Murray, Prodigy, Fat Joe & Foxy Brown

“Illuminati want my mind, soul and my body. Secret society, tryin to keep they eye on me.”  – Prodigy

In 1995, LL Cool J released one of his biggest albums Mr. Smith.  The LP’s  double platinum success was due to the smash hits Loungin with/ Total, Doin It w/ LeShaun, Hey Lover w/ Boyz 2 Men plus most of the production being handled by Rashad Smith & The Trackmasters.  The Mr. Smith album wasn’t all bubble gum however, LL assembled Representatives from some of NY’s finest crews [Fat Joe (Terror Squad), Keith Murray(Def Squad/L.O.D.), Prodigy(Mobb Deep) & Foxy Brown(The Firm)] for the remix to his controversial record I Shot Ya.  Directed by Hype Williams, rumors swirling of Keith Murray tossing Prodigy around at the video shoot & loads of cameos this is a classic Hip-Hop video from a better era.

Jealous Ones Still Envy 2 – Fat Joe

Jealous Ones Still Envy 2 will be Fat Joe’s 9th solo album (wow) and is set for a May 19th release date.  J.O.S.E. 2 will feature collaborations with Lil Wayne, Lil Kim, Ron Browz, Akon, T-Pain, Fabolous and Raekwon.  Now all we need is for Joey to hook up with Finesse and Diamond D for a D.I.T.C. reunion album.

Joey Crack hooks up with Dj Infamous for the single Hey Joe, borrowing the title and sample from the classic Jimi Hendrix song.  I was always wondering when someone would flip Hey Joe, one of Jimi’s best/gangsta records and it only makes sense that it was Fat Joe.

Colin Munroe – Piano Lessons feat. Joell Ortiz

The reviews are correct on this track, Joell kills it!!! After listening to the track a few more times I started to notice how much I loved Colin’s abstract vocals and milks production. Now this doesn’t take away from the lyrical intensity Joell brings, instead it compliments it.
