Rondo dunk on Miami Heat (11-11-2010)

The Boston Celtics improved to 7-2 on the season with their second win over the Miami Heat, led by Ray Allen with 35 points and Rajon Rondo with 16 Assists.  Check out Rondo’s dunk from last nights contest.

Boston’s Baby Gangstas – Glen Davis & Nate Robinson

“We’re like Shrek & Donkey, Best Friends” – Nate Robinson

The Boston Celtics tied up the NBA Finals at 2-2 last night against the L.A. Lakers, the real story however lies in the bench play, particularly that of Nate Robinson & Glen Davis who were the spark in Game 4 off the bench for the C’s.  Here is the clip from last night’s now infamous SlobberGate.

Equally as entertaining is Nate Robinson & Glen Davis press conference after the Game 4 victoy for the Celtics.

This isn’t Glen Davis’s first success in a Game 4 post season situation either, who could forget Glen’s game winning shot last year in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Orlando Magic.

N.B.S. – Who Are We (The Celtics!)

N.B.S. delivers what is sure to become a street anthem for the Boston Celtics , entitled “Who are We? (The Celtics!)”, produced by new comer C-Lance (fresh off of his release with Beanie Sigel & Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks). Released just in time for the heated match up against the rekindled rivalry with the LA Lakers, this track is sure to fuel the fire at home and worldwide that will push the Celtics over the edge and secure them yet ANOTHER championship…

Coach Mike Brown Fired from Cleveland

“Obviously, I was not thrilled to see it, I wonder what you have to do to keep your job — back-to-back 60-win seasons. Our profession is tough”. – Doc Rivers

Cleveland is bugging, for real b. I mean how you fire last years coach of the year, the man with the highest winning percentage in Cavs history! Dan Gilbert the owner of the Cleveland Cavs decided to fire Coach Brown upon the contract deadline and payout the $4.5 to him over next season. The Cavs have become similar to the Mavs in a sense, they can get you 50+ wins in the regular season but in the post season they lose focus. This is proven from what happened last year in the conference finals w/Orlando and again this year in the 2nd round to Boston. Despite adding all-star’s Shaquille O’Neal and Antawn Jamison the Cavs still couldn’t secure the championship, leaving Cleveland fans once again hoping for next year. The Saga of Lebron continues…..

NBA 2009-2010 Season

The Boston Celtics conquered the Clevland Cavaliers Tuesday night to tip-off the 2009-2010 NBA season with a final score of 95 to 89.  This off-season some of the NBA’s more elite squads made key acquisitions to help them to the promiseland.  Rasheed Wallace going to the Celtics, Vince Carter to the Magic, Shaquille O’Neal to the Cavaliers and Ron Artest to the Lakers.  This should all make for another exciting season for David Stern and the NBA.

*Message to the Los Angeles Lakers, In the immortal words of the late, great Biggie Smalls.  “Your reign on the top was short like Leprachauns”

Side note, your not in Minnesota anymore, change the name.  No lakes in L.A.

Rasheed Wallace to sign with Boston Celtics

Philadelphia native, former UNC  and Blazers/Pistons star Rasheed Wallace committed to the Boston Celtics yesterday (July 5th)  The Celtics don’t expect Leon Powe to stick around next season plus Glen Davis (Big Baby) could be lost to free-agency so Sheed will fill that void off the bench for the Celtics.  Rasheed has always been to me one of the illest players in the league between his custom Air Force 1’s, long threes, technical fouls and an occasional Nas verse from Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, http://hulkhatetimetravel.com/2009/03/24/raekwon-verbal-intercourse-feat-nas-ghostface-killah/ definitely don’t be surprised if the Celts take another one this coming season.

Celtics Sweet Sixteen

nba_a_pierce_412

The Boston Celtics have reached a 16 game winning streak yesterday with a victory over the Atlanta Hawks 88-85. The Boston Celtics have been tearing through this season showing a confidence greater than last year. I cant front I didn’t think the big three would come back with so much focus, discipline and hunger, and I’m glad to see I was wrong.

Garnett scored 10 of his 18 points in the 4th when the C’s needed it most. Atlanta’s Joe Johnson missed a late free throw that would have tied it, leaving Ray Allen to make two free throws in the final seconds to win the epic game. The Celtics lead the league and are at a franchise best 24-2.
