Who’s Real Remix – Jadakiss feat. The Ruff Ryders

When the Last Kiss leaked I was upset to see Who’s Real wasn’t the first single, an OJ Da Juiceman collabo along with a Swizz Beatz  and Jadakiss reunion?  How can one go wrong?  Anyway they finally made it a single, with an accompanying video which I included below.  Most impressively they got the whole Ruff Ryders (Styles P, Sheek Louch, Jadakiss, DMX, Eve, Swizz Beatz and Drag-On) back together for a posse cut/remix to do the song some justice.

DMX Going To Celebrity Rehab

After DMX completes his Arizona Prison bid he will back in public view. X will join the cast of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab and spend 21 days of detoxification and group therapy in the L.A. area. I hope X really goes through with the treatment and cleans up his act, we need that old X back.

2008 Wrap-Up – Skillz

Reminisce on a crazy year that was 2008 with the always clever Skillz.

M.O.P. – Blood, Sweat and Tears (Belly Soundtrack)

When I first saw Hype Williams “Belly” I had to say I was not impressed at all. I thought Nasir’s acting was horrible and DMX was too erratic, once again I didn’t learn to appreciate the incredible visual Hype presented and the goon image so well portrayed by DMX. Now I can say I love Nas’ Character in the flick, there is always that dude in ya crew who wants out, who wants more and has just a little bit more focus and Nas did a good job on that.

This song right here me and my goons smoked many an “L” too, when this shit dropped it had that melodic feeling but at the same time some gun gangsta shit! MOP LIVE ON, WE NEED THAT RAW SHIT COME BACK MOP!

DMX Arrested At Scott Storch’s House

Federal agents arrested DMX (Earl Simmons) Tuesday afternoon on a tip that led them to the home of record producer Scott Storch. DMX, 37, was taken in around 2:45 p.m. on a warrant from Arizona. Tuesday night he is being held at a Miami Dade County jail. DMX seems to be continuing his path to ruin, he’s already been arrested two other times in Miami this year on drug related charges. Shits sad for real, I remember this was the dude who taught me to stop being greedy.

And here is some good publicity for Scott since he aint doing shit.

John Forté Gets Presidential Pardon

President Bush has granted pardons to 14 individuals and commuted the sentences of two, one of those two was John Forte. Remember John Forte? The dude who was on Wyclef’s joint “Staying Alive”, the man was brilliant he even wrote two joints on the Fugees classic album “The Score”. His solo album in 98 didn’t do so well but it did showcase a rising star to the world. In 2000 Forte fell upon bad luck when he got caught trying to peddle 1.4 mili in liquid crack (this dude is g, please praise this man, he more thug than 99% of these rap niggas out). Forte was sentenced to a 14 year minimum, but today all that has changed. The exact details are not fully released yet but we do now his sentence has been commuted, hopefully he will be released very soon.

I have a feeling this man has got a lot to say and I’m mos def gonna listen

Update: With the commutation, Forte will be released Dec. 22, after serving just over seven years. He still faces five years of supervised probation.
