Tony Velez – Bump-A-Bump

Tony V

Some people have a problem with Mainsouth, some people prefer that we not say the name at all……….fuck em. Worcester is a beautiful city and I’m more than happy to rep it all, especially where I hail from MAINSOUTH! My lil homie Tony has been working hard in the lab and the work has been paying off, when I first heard this track I knew it was gonna be something to look out for, real talk! Check for Tony on the Coney Island Hot Dogs & Coke Mixtape dropping this fall.

Much More – De La Soul feat. DJ Premier & Yummy Bingham

“Gama Ray rap, I make the Hulk Snap” – Dave (Plug Two from De La)

Over it’s 2 seasons The Chapelle Show featured many great performances from some of Hip-Hops elite.  One of which that always stood out to me was De La Soul performing the J-Dilla produced Much More off of their 2004 album The Grind Date.  Although DJ Premier didn’t make an appearance,(featured talking shit on the intro to the record) De La still managed to bring Yummy Bingham to help-out on the chorus.  Brilliant minds think alike too, peep Plug Two rocking the Hulk Hand for his verse.Much More – De La Soul Feat. Live From Tammany Hall

men freedunnadun whatss go hard (2)yo and di

Sat. Jul, 11th @ Tammany Hall Worcester, Ma Nite People held their album release party and it was a hell of night! Cocaine Robots (Brother Menelik & T.O.D.) opened the night in dramatic fashion with their signature dope dealer sound. The Dunnas hit hard right after with beautiful chemistry showcasing each mc’s persona in a instance.  Spit Supreme followed with aggressive lyrics and smooth flow that kept the crowd moving leading nicely into the main act. Nite People in what looked like 30’s banker/mobster suits took stage and  wrecked shop! Tone on live production, Dj Manipulator on the 1’s and 2’s, Yohon and Ethereal on the mic, now you know that shit’s tight. You have to watch the vids to see Nite People’s dedication to Michael Jackson, shit was dope. All in all the night was an event that will be remembered and I’m honored for HHTT to have been apart. Mobb Deep – Survival Of The Fittest

00-mobb_deep-survival_of_the_fittest-cds-1995-cms

There was a time where swag didn’t exist, there was a time where to be gritty was to be everything. I can think back, rocking that nappy fro ,army fatigue and wheat tims on my feet. Mobb Deep was the truth during this era, Prodigy rocking the bullet proof, classic. The whole video was shot in the hood, no bitches, no fancy cars just the realness. Even the way the song starts, the beat sound like some creep music. That black mask early 90’s run up in ya moms crib with duck tape type music! This song mos def only establish queens more so, Prodigy‘s rough intense flow mixed with Havoc‘s spitfire style worked flawless to orchestrate there hood saga. What made me think of all this was a conversation I had with Rev and Lex, we all admitted to how sick 1995 was and for that reason I had to post this.
Cuban link chains, champion hoodies, tims and Nas with the cameo……. Classic don’t sleep
Damn I miss 95

I Blog (Thanks 2500+)

I really never thought I would become a blogger, but eh that’s life right. I love to write, I write novels, rhymes, blog, put it like this I’m a feen. I have to say when we started this whole thing I was skeptical about the upkeep and just the whole idea of people actually reading our crazy thoughts lol. The main reason I decided to write this post is to say thanks, to see more than 2500 people come to our lil page about random nonsense is truly a honor. WordPress has been a great tool, they gave us a platform and for that I’m eternally grateful. So to all those who think that blogging may not be for them or afraid no one would read it, try it, I would read it.

Hulkhatetimetravel…………yeah it’s that good.
