Forever and Always – M.O.P.

M.O.P.‘s The Foundation is the groups first official album in 9 years, which is crazy considering how active the duo has been over the past decade.  (see industry rule 4080)  Forever & Always teams the Brownsvillains up with Statik Selektah for his nostalgic production.  Foundation is due 9-15-09

Steadfast Opening for M.O.P. in Boston

 mop_stead

Damn! It seems like Social Light Sounds is heavily on their grind as of late, with Nite People opening for El-P and Steadfast opening for the classic crime duo M.O.P. I remember just last week Yohon was telling me about the time Steadfast came down to 91.3 and was freestyling off the dome for like 20 mins straight! You gotta respect that, show support for some real Hip-Hop and cop a ticket!

Street Life – M.O.P. Feat. DeMarco

New music from the Mash Out Posse Street Life featuring DeMarco singing on the chorus, look for this to pop up on M.O.P.‘s Foundation album hopefully dropping in the fourth quarter.Download/Stream–>http://www.zshare.net/audio/634453334c7ebec2/

Calm Down – M.O.P.

“We have the constitutional right to bear arms to flare arms whenever we feel harm”

The Mash Out Posse released their fourth album Warriorz in 2000, the album is easily M.O.P.’s most popular due to the huge sucess of Ante Up and Cold As Ice.  Both of those records are without a doubt rap-classics but I gotta show love to the lesser known slept on classic Calm Down produced by Lil Fame.Download/Stream–>http://www.zshare.net/audio/6203505987eca324/

Stick to Ya Gunz – Mash Out Posse

“Stick to Ya Gunz” off of the 1995 “Firing Squad” album is classic rugged neva smoov M.O.P. boom bap, produced by the king Dj Premier and with a final Verse from Kool G. Rap, don’t get no better than this.

Statik Selektah featuring M.O.P. and Jadakiss “For the City” off of Statik Selektah’s upcoming sophmore release “Stick 2 the Script”
