Marco Polo checks in from Australia & New Zealand to share some of his Stupendous Adventures.

Born To Roll – Freddie Gibbs

One of the standout songs off of XXL’s 10 Freshmen for ’10 mixtape with DJ Whoo Kid was Freddie Gibb’s Born 2 Roll.  The Gary Indiana native breaks it down over Masta Ace’s classic Born 2 Roll and it works.Born 2 Roll – Freddie Gibbs

Over There – A & E (Masta Ace & Edo G)

New joint off of A & E’s upcoming Arts & Entertainment album dropping 11-3-09.  Over There produced by M-Phazes, is more of a solo Edo G record with Masta Ace holding down the chorus.Over There – Edo. G & Masta Ace

Little Young – A & E (Masta Ace & Edo. G)

Don’t know who Edo G & Masta Ace are? (no)  thats cause you a little young.  It’s always dope to see unity in the game, the two veterans are dropping Arts & Entertainment later this year, the album will yield collabs with Large Professor, Doitall, DJ Spinna, Posdnuos & KRS One.  Untill then, enjoy the video for their lead single Little Young.Little Young – A&E (Masta Ace & Edo G)

Like This – DJ JS-1 feat. Large Professor

DJ JS-1’s  Ground Original 2 : No Sell Out will definitely be one of the few albums I actually buy this year.  The double CD drops June 23rd, with disc 2 featuring clean versions and instrumentals for the DJs.  Like This features former Main Source MC and producer extraordinaire the Large Professor for the first leak off of DJ JS-1’s  No Sell Out.

Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers – Crooklyn Dodgers ’95

Man if this isn’t the very definition of 95, I don’t know what is.  Crooklyn Dodgers ’95 consisted of Chubb Rock, DJ Premier, O.C. and Jeru da Damaja they recorded Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers for the Spike Lee Joint Clockers.(played in the first scene)  This was the follow up to the original record for the Crooklyn soundtrack the previous year, the group then consisted of Buckshot, Masta Ace & Special Ed.  I am sure at some point we will have to do a feature on the classic film Clockers as well as the first Crooklyn Dodgers record Crooklyn itself so stay tuned.Download/Stream–>
