Hands down one of the best all-around Dunk contests I’ve seen in years, contestants included Serge Ibaka, Javal McGee, Blake Griffin & DeMar DeRozan.
Oklahoma City Thunder’s Serge Ibaka took off from behind the free throw line (Dr.J) and even bit a toy off the rim for a distressed likkle youth.
Defending dunk-champion DeMar DeRozan was robbed in my opinion, no way he should have missed the final round, but that just goes to show the level of competition at this years dunk contest. Teamed with his coach Darryl Chocolate Thunder Dawkins he named his dunks, check out the East Bay Funk Remix & The Show Stopper below.
The 7’0 Javal McGee had somewhat of a coming out party dunking 3 balls at once and also showing his long reach when he dunked two balls in two separate hoops simultaneously.
Blake Griffin, definitely the favorite coming in to the contest, showed and proved that he belongs on the dunk-throne. Teamed with teammate Baron Davis, Blake completed a barrage of dunks to win the competition including this off the backboard monsterpiece.
