The Notorious B.I.G.

Almost every hip-hop fan can agree that The Notorious B.I.G. is in the Top Five Mc’s to ever touch a mic, many would place him even higher, especially us here on the East Coast.  It’s a shame that Big never got to see the fruits of his success off of his sophmore double LP Life After Death.  After his passing in 1997, Biggie has since became an American Icon.  HHTT proudly salutes Biggie Smalls on the 12th anniversary of his passing.

After Ready to Die Biggie got the rest of  his Junior Mafia crew together and released Conspiracy in 1995.  The album featured hits like Get Money & Player’s Anthem below is the slept on banger Realms of Junior Mafia, produced by Clark Kent and features fellow Mafia members Lil Cease, Cheek Del Vec and Jamal.  “Lights excite all the Freaks

DJ Drama Jumped at “Notorious” Premiere in ATL

djdrama

It’s reported that DJ Drama was jumped last night at the premiere of “Notorious” in ATL. Aphilliates Music Group president La The Darkman said Drama left without harm and the attackers were members of Young Jeezy’s entourage.

“There was a little scuffle. At a movie screening,” La told AllHipHop.com, “A little thing that got handled. Fake thugs with low self esteem want to pick on the DJ’s. We definitely didn’t initiate this though. DJs don’t go looking for beef with fake gangstas.”

I thought CTE and Drama were cool, I guess not. Jeezy was in the studio when the attack occurred, how convenient.

Biggie – Party and Bullshit

notoriousbig_source10942-792458Biggie was that nigga! I really cant lie I loved big when he frist came out then started to fade on him as he blew. One thing I can say is after his passing I have found a new apprecation for big, his swag was ridiculous raw fo real. Many rappers clone his style which makes me angry but when u hear the authentic nothing can match. When Big was first coming out we all knew how raw he was, since I’m in a nostalgic mood I present one of my favorite songs ever, “Biggie – Party and Bullshit”
