Former NBA and Wake Forrest standout player Rodney Rogers is now paralyzed from the shoulders down due to an accident he had on his ATV when he was riding in North Carolina on December 1st. Rogers a former all-american and the 1993 ACC player of the year at Wake Forrest, averaged over ten points a game over his 12-year career in the NBA and also a won the sixth man award in 1999, Rogers played for 8 NBA teams before he retired in 2005 season. I remember Rodney wetting 3’s back in the 2001-2002 season when he was traded along with Tony Delk to the Boston Celtics, with Paul Pierce, Antoine Walker, Eric Williams and Walter McCarty led the C’s to the Eastern Conference Finals.
