Rondo dunk on Miami Heat (11-11-2010)

The Boston Celtics improved to 7-2 on the season with their second win over the Miami Heat, led by Ray Allen with 35 points and Rajon Rondo with 16 Assists.  Check out Rondo’s dunk from last nights contest.

Shaquille O’Neal to the Boston Celtics

Shaquille O’Neal aka Big Diesel, aka The Big Aristotle, aka Shaqtus, aka Shaq Fu, aka The Big Baryshnikov, aka Mr. I Know I got Skillz, is reportedly all set to sign a deal bringing him to the defending Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics.  Shaq will be looking to win his 5th NBA Championship with the Celtics, I’m just anxious to see which number Shaq will be rocking this season seeing that #32 was retired by Kevin McHale.  Shaq Diesel will help fill the Big-Man void left by the Knee injury to Kendrick Perkins and the departure of Rasheed Wallace alongside fellow newcomer to the Green former all-star Jermaine O’Neal.

I only got 1 question for Kobe Bryant, “Kobe, Tell me how my ass taste?!”

NBA 2009-2010 Season

The Boston Celtics conquered the Clevland Cavaliers Tuesday night to tip-off the 2009-2010 NBA season with a final score of 95 to 89.  This off-season some of the NBA’s more elite squads made key acquisitions to help them to the promiseland.  Rasheed Wallace going to the Celtics, Vince Carter to the Magic, Shaquille O’Neal to the Cavaliers and Ron Artest to the Lakers.  This should all make for another exciting season for David Stern and the NBA.

Rasheed Wallace to sign with Boston Celtics

Philadelphia native, former UNC  and Blazers/Pistons star Rasheed Wallace committed to the Boston Celtics yesterday (July 5th)  The Celtics don’t expect Leon Powe to stick around next season plus Glen Davis (Big Baby) could be lost to free-agency so Sheed will fill that void off the bench for the Celtics.  Rasheed has always been to me one of the illest players in the league between his custom Air Force 1’s, long threes, technical fouls and an occasional Nas verse from Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, http://hulkhatetimetravel.com/2009/03/24/raekwon-verbal-intercourse-feat-nas-ghostface-killah/ definitely don’t be surprised if the Celts take another one this coming season.

Ya’ll can have it this year, wait till we healthy bitches…. Just wait.

Boston Celtics: Glen Davis Game Winning Shot

The Boston Celtics are set to take full advantage of home court tonight at the Garden after the late game heroics of Glen “Big Baby” Davis.  Game 5 of the best of 7 series begins at 8:00 P.M. tonight, be sure to tune in.

Glen recently issued an apology to the young Orlando Magic fan who he bumped after hitting the stunning game-winning shot.

Celtics Sweet Sixteen

The Boston Celtics have reached a 16 game winning streak yesterday with a victory over the Atlanta Hawks 88-85. The Boston Celtics have been tearing through this season showing a confidence greater than last year. I cant front I didn’t think the big three would come back with so much focus, discipline and hunger, and I’m glad to see I was wrong.

Garnett scored 10 of his 18 points in the 4th when the C’s needed it most. Atlanta’s Joe Johnson missed a late free throw that would have tied it, leaving Ray Allen to make two free throws in the final seconds to win the epic game. The Celtics lead the league and are at a franchise best 24-2.

Celtics Hang Banner Then Hang Cavs 90 – 85 (Oct 28th)

Tonight displayed a great game of two Eastern Conference powerhouses the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavs. We all know that Cleveland is still bitter about Boston cutting there season short last year in the playoff thriller between Paul and Lebron in game 7. Tonight the Cavs came out strong Lebron took a early role taking control as usual ending the half 50-43. The 2nd half Boston took fire with Paul leading full assault, I have to say the best moment in the game was when Leon Powe dunked over Delonte West, It was epic beyond belief! Kevin and Ray struggled combining for only 18 points but Tony Allen’s 11 and Leon Powe’s 13 points off the bench helped keep the pace. There were some akward moments, like when I seen Big Baby Glen Davis shooting perimeter shots, why in the hell is he taking those shots? The end score came down Celtics 90 Cavs 85, Lebron scroed 22 point and 6 assists but wasn’t enough to overcome Paul Pierce’s 27 points. Get a ring, get a win not a bad way to end a night at all.

Banner 17

Man can’t lie June 17th 2008 was a happy day for me, the Celtics won their 17th championship.  I rioted in the streets near the TD Banknorth Garden, took pictures in front of Riot police, and literally chased the Lakers bus from Government Center to the Statehouse. (don’t believe me?  In Dunn Dunn Shawty Lo fashion: ask Sean-o, Michael,  yung Yavid, Andy, or Joey yeeeeeeaa)  Below is me overlooking Quincy Market rocking the lucky #17 John Havlicek jersey on the historic evening.

Tuesday Night the Boston Celtics will raise their 17th World Championship Banner to the rafters above the New Garden, as the NBA kicks off the season in Boston with Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers taking on the defending champion Boston Celtics.
