The homey Elijah Divine slipped into dimension X recently, when he took the 146 wormhole south to Providence.  While caught between worlds he managed to get a drop from some of the native creatures who coincidentally turned out to be fans.

Eloi Cole (Time Traveller) arrested at Large Hadron Collider

“Countries do not exist where I come from” – Eloi Cole

Here at HHTT Time Travel plays an integral role in everyday life, so when the story of Eloi Cole surfaced we weren’t too surprised.

Eloi Cole is the time traveller who was arrested at CERN‘s Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland last Thursday (4-1-2010) for trying to stop the LHC from destroying the planet.  Now because the events took place on April Fools day people are quick to dismiss these reports, however just two days prior to Eloi’s appearance CERN scientists “successfully recreated the conditions that were similar to the Big Bang” , coincidence…we think notEloi was later taken to a mental health facility in Switzerland where he has since vanished, for the entire story click here

Planet Hulk

They sent him to another universe, they tricked him, and they lied to him. They sent him to another world, they claimed he would find peace but instead he found war. Planet Hulk is one of the best graphic novels I have read since the Watchmen, real talk bee! My man Jay let me hold it at work and I fell in love with the story. Basically it involves Reed (Bitch) Richard, Doc Strange, Black Bolt and Ironman. These 4 bitch niggas tricked the Hulk to leave Earth then BOOM sent him to another world where he would become a slave. On the new planet Hulk is very weak and must regain his strength over time, but we all know the angrier Hulk gets the stronger! If you into the graphic novel thing or not, It’s an all around good read. Oh yea IT’S THE HULK BEE!!!! HHTT APPROVEDworld-war-hulk

Donnie Darko

dond011donniedarko_wideweb__470x2990For a while people have been sending emails and txt asking me about the film Donnie Darko. In the early days of HHTT we use to post heavily on the subject time travel, we may have gotten away from it a little but we still love all things time travel (John Titor, whats up bee!) A couple of weeks ago I decided to sit down and watch the film Donnie Darko and I have to say it was an experience unparalleled. Donnie Darko is a physiological thriller about a troubled kid set in the late 1980’s. Donnie ends up meeting a 6 foot bunny named Frank who tells him in 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes and 12 seconds, the world will end. From that point the movie picks up rapidly, I’m not going to let too much info out because this is a film that is needed to be seen fo real. Donnie Darko deals with many strong themes but still keeps a humorous balance. One of my favorite parts is when Donnie is going to school, he hops off the back of the bus with his boys and the song “Head Over Heels” by Tears for Fears comes on , the way the song matches the visuals is flawless. The movie closes with a song that stays with me to this day called “Mad World”, The song just fits perfectly, from the chilling piano to the abstract vocals it brings the ending of this movie together perfectly. The film truly captures the 80’s well from music to fashion and also deals heavily with the rules of time travel. Donnie Darko is a film I will never forget, and is easily in my top 3 of all time.

This is the Tears for fears joint to Donnie Darko, pure sickness. And of course the somber classic mad world

HHTT Invades Barnes & Noble Pt. I (Black History Month)

This past weekend Rev and I got up at Barnes & Noble to meet and discuss business. Barnes & Noble provides an excellent atmosphere to work and gives the serenity of a czar’s palace. Ok enough of the flattery, tell me why the fuck in the prime of black history month one of Americas #1 booksellers only has two tables dedicated to African American history?? I went into the muthafucka happy to read books and shit then realized it’s the same bullshit.
All that aside we had a excellent time peep the clip.

Tarzan Boy – Baltimora

I started bringing this jam back a few years ago, and yes, it’s still Hot.  What reminded me of this forgotten classic was the 3rd Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie (the one where they go back to 13th century Japan in the time of the samurai) Tarzan Boy was playing on the jukebox of some pizza spot that the Samurai’s and Casey Jones were posted up in.  Anyways check the video & the classic Cool mint Listerine commercial from 93 which featured Baltimora’s timeless masterpiece Tarzan Boy.

Terminator Salvation NEW Trailer

The machines have officially risen after Judgement Day, the new Terminator film is set for release on may 22 2009.  The film is set in post-apocalyptic 2018,  it focuses around the war between man and terminators.  John Connor is played by Christian Bale, who is leading the resistance against skynet and their machine army.  Hopefully Bale will reignite the excitment of the Terminator series much like he did with Batman, peep the trailer below    The End Begins
